Kevin and Yuxi both met while studying together at the University of Toronto. They are both big time foodies and used food as an excuse to keep meeting up and eventually falling in love. After proposing during the pandemic, Kevin and Yuxi decided to have a micro wedding at one of their favourite restaurants – Favourites Thai BBQ + Wine located on Ossington. Before the ceremony, they got ready at their home and had their first look there. We then proceeded to Trinity Bellwoods Park for some photos. Once we arrived at the restaurant, the space provided a nice, laid-back and stylish vibe. The couple kept things simple and wanted everything from their guests to the decor, to be able to compliment the relaxed vibes of the restaurant. The food was great, the company was great, and I had a blast celebrating with their friends and family. Restaurants have been opening up their spaces for weddings and I’m hoping to be able to shoot many many more while exploring all the delicious restaurants in Toronto. Sign me up for more please!
